Job Summary:

Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care assistance including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and feeding as required.
- Assist clients in developing essential life skills such as cooking, cleaning, budgeting, and using public transportation.
- Implement individualized care plans based on the specific needs of each client.
- Encourage clients' participation in social activities within the community.
- Accompany clients on outings or appointments as necessary.
- Administer medication following prescribed guidelines (if qualified).
-Take accurate records of daily activities and report any concerns or incidents promptly.
Qualifications:
-Certificate IV in Disability or related field (preferable)
-National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) Screening Check clearance
-Driver's license and insured car a must
-Certification in First Aid
Additional Qualifications/Certifications (desired):
-Specific training related to supporting individuals with different types of disabilities
-Mental Health First Aid certification (desired)
Benefits & Remuneration:
-$800 - $2000 per week depending on experience level
