Role Overview:

Are you passionate about making a positive impact? We’re seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Disability Support Worker to join our team. You will play a key role in providing high-quality care and support to our clients, which are located across Logan, Scenic Rim (Beaudesert), and Ipswich.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide personalized care and support to individuals with disabilities
  • Assist with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and mobility
  • Administer medication as prescribed and maintain accurate medication records
  • Utilize manual handling techniques safely and effectively
  • Encourage and support clients in achieving their personal goals and enhancing their independence
  • Maintain accurate records and reports

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Certificate III or higher in Disability Support or a related field
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working with Children's Check (Blue and Yellow Card)
  • First Aid and CPR
  • Experience in disability support, including manual handling, PEG, and Stoma care
  • Experience in administering medication
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Valid driver’s license, reliable transport and vehicle insurance
